RubyPlay has agreed to acquire 100% of Splash Tech, expanding its portfolio beyond game content into player engagement technology.
The acquisition strengthens RubyPlay’s offering by adding Splash Tech’s jackpot and free-to-play solutions. As a result, its platform is further enhanced for operators across regulated iGaming markets. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.
Expanding Engagement Tools
Splash Tech’s portfolio includes a real-money jackpot solution, free-to-play casino and sports products, and engagement features. These features are designed to improve player acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and monetization.
The company’s flagship jackpot system allows operators to apply jackpots across multiple games and verticals, removing traditional single-supplier limitations.
Following the acquisition, RubyPlay’s operator partners will gain access to Splash Tech’s jackpot and free-to-play capabilities. Additionally, these will be offered alongside the company’s existing features, including free spins, rewards, missions, and tournaments.
Supporting Operator Growth
RubyPlay said the acquisition supports its strategy of evolving from a game supplier into a broader content and engagement platform provider.
Future plans include integrating Splash Tech’s technology across RubyPlay’s in-house studios. These studios include Koala Games, Mad Hat Games, xSlots, and Firerose. As a result, the company will deliver additional engagement opportunities.
CEO Tsachi Maimon said the deal creates new revenue opportunities for operators while strengthening player acquisition and retention.
Splash Tech CEO Adam Wilson added that joining RubyPlay will provide greater scale and market reach. Furthermore, it will ensure continuity for existing customers.
