Kalshi has signed a multi-year partnership with the US Open, becoming the tennis tournament’s official prediction market partner. The agreement expands Kalshi’s presence in mainstream sports and will give the company visibility across the tournament’s physical venues and digital platforms.
Kalshi Expands Sports Partnerships
Under the agreement, Kalshi will receive on-site branding and signage throughout the US Open, alongside integrations across the tournament’s digital channels. The partnership is designed to create additional opportunities for fan engagement while introducing prediction markets to a broader tennis audience.
Craig Tiley, CEO of the USTA, said the partnership supports the organisation’s efforts to keep tennis at the forefront of sports innovation and strengthen connections with fans.
For Kalshi, the deal represents another step in its strategy to expand prediction markets through major sports properties. Tarek Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Kalshi, said the partnership would give tennis fans additional ways to engage with the sport.
Focus on Integrity and Market Monitoring
Kalshi’s involvement in tennis also extends beyond commercial partnerships. The company is a partner of the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), providing market data that can assist in monitoring suspicious activity and potential match manipulation.
As prediction markets continue to expand into sports, relationships with sporting organisations and integrity bodies are becoming increasingly important, particularly as regulators and leagues examine how these markets operate alongside traditional sports wagering.
Kalshi Builds MLB Presence
The US Open partnership follows Kalshi’s recent expansion across Major League Baseball (MLB). The company has announced sponsorship agreements with the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres.
These partnerships include stadium branding, logos, digital promotions and, in some cases, team-specific offers. Together with its US Open agreement, the deals demonstrate Kalshi’s broader push to build visibility across major American sports.
The growing number of partnerships highlights the increasing intersection between prediction markets, sports entertainment and fan engagement, while regulatory and integrity considerations remain central to the sector’s development.
