BMM Testlabs Approved to Certify Gaming Products in the UAE

GCGRA authorizes BMM for lottery and gaming product testing

BMM Testlabs has officially received approval from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) to test and certify gaming products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The move marks a key step in the development of the country’s newly regulated gaming industry.

Expanding Expertise into the UAE

Known for its global testing capabilities, BMM will apply its expertise in penetration testing, compliance, and product certification to the UAE’s first-ever licensed lottery and its broader land-based and digital gaming offerings. The company’s involvement began shortly after the UAE’s lottery held its first official draw in December 2024.

CEO Martin Storm expressed gratitude, saying, “We are honoured that the GCGRA has entrusted BMM Testlabs with this responsibility. We will uphold the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and technical excellence.”

UAE Gaming Market Gains Momentum

The UAE’s gaming landscape continues to evolve rapidly. In July 2024, the country licensed its first official lottery. By October, Wynn Resorts became the first operator granted a casino licence for its $2.4 billion Al Marjan Island project. Soon after, Aristocrat received the first vendor licence, followed by Novomatic in April 2025.

BMM now joins a select group of companies cleared to support this fast-growing market.

Upcoming Acquisition Adds to Momentum

Meanwhile, BMM Testlabs is also preparing for a major corporate change. The Vizualize Group, a private investment firm, recently announced plans to acquire BMM. Storm will retain a significant ownership stake and continue as CEO. The acquisition aims to expand global reach and introduce employee ownership initiatives. Financial terms remain undisclosed, pending regulatory approval.
