CBF Renews Integrity Partnership with Sportradar to Monitor Over 8,200 Matches

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has renewed its exclusive partnership with Sportradar, a global leader in sports integrity services. This extended collaboration will see Sportradar monitor more than 8,200 matches across Brazil’s men’s and women’s football leagues in 2024, using its cutting-edge Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS).

Expanded Coverage for 2024
In addition to Sportradar’s efforts, FIFA and other governing bodies will also monitor matches. Combined, these efforts will provide integrity coverage for over 10,000 Brazilian football matches this year. As a result, Brazil will benefit from its most extensive match-monitoring initiative to date.

Positive Trends Support the Approach
According to Sportradar’s 2024 Integrity Report, suspicious football matches globally have dropped by 48%, and overall manipulated matches have decreased by 17%. These numbers highlight the success of proactive monitoring and long-term partnerships like this one.

Leadership Voices Commitment
CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues commented, “Protecting the integrity of Brazilian football remains a top priority. This partnership strengthens our ability to detect and prevent match-fixing while building a safer, fairer environment for players and fans alike.”

Building on a Strong Foundation
Notably, the partnership between CBF and Sportradar began in 2018. Since then, it has evolved into one of the most trusted collaborations in football integrity. Sportradar also supports major organizations such as FIFA, UEFA, CONMEBOL, and AFC.

Looking Ahead
Sportradar’s Executive VP, Andreas Krannich, added, “This renewed agreement brings the most comprehensive integrity coverage Brazil has ever seen. We’re proud to continue our work with one of the world’s most respected football federations.”

With the renewal in place, Brazil continues to set a global example in the fight against match manipulation and sports corruption.
