ChatGPT has begun displaying Kalshi-powered probability cards for selected 2026 FIFA World Cup searches. This marks the first known integration of prediction market data into OpenAI’s search experience.
The feature appears for specific match queries rather than general tournament searches. For example, users searching for a matchup such as France vs. Spain may see a card showing each team’s estimated probability of advancing. In one observed semifinal example, France was listed at around 60%. Meanwhile, Spain was shown at approximately 40%. Each card identifies Kalshi as the source of the probabilities.
Informational Feature Only
The probability cards serve as informational snapshots. They do not allow users to place bets or access Kalshi’s prediction market directly through ChatGPT.
The displayed percentages are not live market prices. They may differ slightly from current odds on Kalshi. Instead, the probabilities reflect static snapshots rather than real-time updates.
The rollout also appears limited. The cards only show for highly specific match-related searches. They do not appear for broader queries such as “World Cup 2026.”
Expanding Prediction Market Visibility
Neither OpenAI nor Kalshi has publicly commented on the feature.
The integration follows Kalshi’s broader strategy of expanding the reach of its prediction market data through major digital platforms. However, within ChatGPT, the information is presented solely as reference data. There is no wagering functionality or direct link to Kalshi’s trading platform.
