PAGCOR maintains quality standards across multiple branches
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification, extending its validity until March 21, 2026. This achievement follows a comprehensive audit conducted by DQS Certification Philippines.
Demonstrating Commitment to Quality
PAGCOR’s continued certification reflects its strong focus on risk management, operational control, and customer satisfaction. Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco emphasized the significance of the accomplishment, stating:
“Maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification is no small feat. It’s a testament to the teamwork, discipline, and dedication of the entire PAGCOR family.”
Widespread Audit Coverage
The surveillance audit evaluated PAGCOR’s Main Corporate Office and various Casino Filipino locations, including branches in Tagaytay, Cebu, Angeles, Ilocos Norte, Olongapo, and Bacolod. Additional sites such as Binondo, Midas, Greenery, Tropicana Las Piñas, and Manila Grand Opera were also included.
Recognized for Innovation and Efficiency
Auditors praised PAGCOR’s management for consistently supporting quality improvements. The report highlighted effective cross-division collaboration, employee engagement, and technological upgrades. Notable innovations included the use of digital records, enhanced cash handling systems, customer feedback opportunities, and AML training initiatives. The agency also introduced a new “Card Canister Randomiser” to improve gaming transparency.
More Than Just Certification
The awarding ceremony was attended by key PAGCOR officials and DQS representatives. On a related note, PAGCOR recently opened a dialysis unit in Pampanga with 40 machines, offering free treatment to underprivileged patients—further proving its commitment to public welfare.
