Sportsbook provider BETBY has launched “Watch & Bet,” a new feature designed to combine live sports streaming and in-play betting within a single interactive experience. The solution allows players to watch supported events while accessing live markets, odds and betting options without leaving the stream.
Live Streaming Meets In-Play Betting
Available directly on BETBY’s sportsbook event page, Watch & Bet displays selected betting markets and key actions within the video area when an official stream is available. Players can browse markets, select odds and place bets while continuing to follow the live action.
By keeping streaming and betting within the same interface, the feature aims to reduce navigation between the video, markets and Betslip. For operators, this creates more opportunities to maintain player interaction with live betting content as events unfold.
BETBY’s previous analysis also highlighted the potential value of live streaming. During the World Cup, players at brands offering live streams generated 44.79% higher GGR per player, placed 24.30% more bets and recorded a 32.53% higher average stake than players at brands without streaming.
Flexible Experience Across Devices
Watch & Bet includes a flexible video module that allows players to move the stream around the screen, dock it to the side or hide it completely. This gives users greater control over how they balance viewing and betting.
The interface also adapts to different screen sizes. On desktop, streaming and betting controls are integrated into the viewing area, while mobile users can keep the video visible while browsing markets and interacting with the Betslip.
The feature supports traditional sports, esports and Betby Games, with available markets adjusted according to the event and stage of play.
BETBY Head of Innovation and R&D Kirill Nekrasov said the feature removes unnecessary steps from the live betting journey while giving operators another way to drive engagement around live events.
