The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has secured ISO 9001:2015 certification for 16 Casino Filipino sites and branches, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to internationally recognised quality management standards.
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco received the certification from DQS Certification Phils. Inc. during an awarding ceremony at PAGCOR’s corporate office in Pasay City on August 13.
The certification follows surveillance audits conducted from March 2 to 5 and March 9 to 10, 2026. The audits covered 16 Casino Filipino locations across the Philippines.
16 Casino Filipino Sites Receive Certification
The certified locations include Casino Filipino Mactan, Venezia, Calamba, Town Center, Premier, Apo View, El Rancho, Fuente, Subic Bay Yacht Club, Tropicana, Adriatico, Grand Imperial Gensan, Iloilo, Oriental Pavilion, Leisure World, and Cagayan Valley.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification recognises organisations that maintain quality management systems designed to support consistent processes, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
For PAGCOR, the certification provides an additional framework for strengthening operational standards across its Casino Filipino network.
PAGCOR Targets Greater Operational Consistency
Tengco described the certification as another milestone for PAGCOR and credited the agency’s employees for supporting the certification process.
He said the achievement reflects PAGCOR’s commitment to improving its operational standards and maintaining consistent processes across the organisation.
Tengco also noted that the ISO framework can help PAGCOR improve efficiency and accountability while strengthening the systems that support its regulatory and operational responsibilities.
Quality and Environmental Management Remain Priorities
Beyond the certification, Tengco urged PAGCOR personnel to support the agency’s Quality and Environmental Management System and broader environmental sustainability initiatives.
He emphasised that quality and environmental responsibility should remain part of PAGCOR’s ongoing operations. Consequently, the agency plans to continue integrating these principles into its systems and processes.
The certification for the 16 Casino Filipino locations remains valid until March 22, 2029, subject to successful annual surveillance audits.
Overall, the certification marks a further step in PAGCOR’s efforts to strengthen operational quality, process consistency, and accountability across its Casino Filipino network.
