PhilWeb Corp has signed an exclusive partnership with Pragmatic Play to provide the supplier’s iGaming content to licensed operators in the Philippines. As a result, this move further strengthens its position in the country’s regulated online gaming market.
The agreement, announced in a filing to the Philippine Stock Exchange, remains subject to regulatory approvals and final contractual arrangements. PhilWeb did not disclose financial terms or a launch timeline.
Exclusive Content Partnership
The filing did not specify whether the agreement covers Pragmatic Play’s full product portfolio. This includes online slots, live casino, virtual sports, and other gaming content delivered through a single API.
PhilWeb noted that Pragmatic Play is licensed in multiple regulated jurisdictions. It also supports operators with multilingual and multi-currency content across global markets.
Expanding Platform Business
The partnership continues PhilWeb’s transition from an electronic gaming operator to a technology and platform provider. This shift allows it to serve licensed gaming operators in the Philippines.
In recent months, the company has launched online gaming platforms with Hann Casino Resort, NUSTAR Online, Newport World Resorts, and Okada Manila. Therefore, it is expanding its footprint across the regulated market.
Strengthening Regulated Gaming
By adding Pragmatic Play to its growing network of partners, PhilWeb aims to broaden the range of content available to licensed operators. At the same time, this move reinforces its platform-based business model.
Once regulatory approvals are completed, the exclusive agreement is expected to further strengthen PhilWeb’s role. It will become a key technology and content distribution partner in the Philippines’ regulated online gaming industry.
