Podium Enters Australia Through Picklebet Partnership

Sports data provider Podium has expanded into the Australian market through a new partnership with online bookmaker Picklebet. This marks the company’s first commercial agreement in the country.

The collaboration strengthens Podium’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region. It also supports its strategy of delivering sports data solutions to a growing international customer base.

Picklebet Gains Access to Premium Sports Data

Under the agreement, Podium will provide Picklebet with its API-first Premium Live product. This product offers comprehensive coverage across a wide range of sports.

The platform includes pre-match, live, and post-event data covering football, tennis, cricket, rugby, and major US sporting competitions. Picklebet will also gain access to fixtures, line-ups, live scores, results, player statistics, and competition data.

The integration will enable the operator to deliver real-time sports information across its website and mobile applications. As a result, this will enhance the experience for sports bettors and fans.

Supporting Growth in the APAC Region

The partnership represents an important milestone in Podium’s international expansion strategy, particularly within the Asia-Pacific market.

While the company has traditionally been associated with horse racing data services, it has continued to broaden its offering. Now it includes a wider range of sports and betting-related content.

By entering Australia, Podium gains exposure to one of the world’s most mature and competitive sports betting markets. In this market, demand for fast and accurate data remains high.

Focus on Speed and Reliability

According to Josh Sparke, Australia’s betting industry places a strong emphasis on integrity, reliability, and data quality.

He said these values align closely with Podium’s approach. He also highlighted the Picklebet partnership as an important step in establishing a long-term presence in the region.

Sparke added that the agreement supports Podium’s broader goal of strengthening its position as a global sports data provider.

Enhancing the Betting Experience

Rob Annable said Podium’s reputation for speed and accuracy made the company a natural fit for Picklebet’s ongoing sports product development strategy.

He noted that access to deeper and more comprehensive live sports data will help the operator deliver the level of information and functionality increasingly expected by modern bettors.

The partnership is expected to enhance Picklebet’s sportsbook offering while supporting Podium’s continued expansion into key international betting markets.
