Pragmatic Play has expanded its Canadian presence by entering Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market. The company has become one of the first suppliers to launch content following the market’s official opening.
The expansion builds on the company’s established success in Ontario. It also marks another key milestone in its North American growth strategy.
Premium Slots and Live Casino Go Live
Pragmatic Play has certified its portfolio of premium slot titles for the Alberta market. This includes recent releases Fury of Anubis and Big Bass Blast, alongside the popular Gates of Olympus series.
The certification also covers the supplier’s live casino portfolio, featuring classic table games such as blackjack, baccarat, and roulette. Additionally, there is a range of live game shows.
Strengthening Canadian Expansion
The launch follows Alberta’s long-awaited regulation of online gaming. This regulation creates new opportunities for licensed operators and suppliers in one of Canada’s largest provinces.
Pragmatic Play already partners with several tier-one operators in Ontario. Its Alberta launch further strengthens its presence across Canada’s regulated gaming market.
The company continues to deliver its multi-product portfolio through a single API. This approach supports operators with slots, live casino, and other gaming content across regulated jurisdictions.
Sharon McHugh, Director of PR at Pragmatic Play, said Alberta represents an important new chapter for regulated iGaming in Canada. She added that the company is pleased to bring its content to operators from the market’s first day. In addition, it is building on the momentum established in Ontario.
With its Alberta launch, Pragmatic Play continues expanding across regulated North American markets. It is also reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Canadian gaming industry.
