BETER has entered the Canadian regulated gaming market after securing Gaming-Related Supplier Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
The approval allows BETER to supply live streams, real-time data and odds to licensed sportsbooks in Ontario. As a result, access to its esports and fast-paced sports content is expanded.
BETER Gains Access to Ontario Operators
Through the registration, Ontario-licensed sportsbooks can access BETER’s portfolio of proprietary content. This includes ESportsBattle eLeagues, the Setka Cup table tennis series and BSKT Cup basketball league.
The approval gives local operators another content option for offering frequent, short-duration betting markets across esports and sports.
BETER CEO Gal Ehrlich said Ontario is an important step in the company’s North American expansion strategy. It also provides a foundation for further growth across Canada.
North American Expansion Continues
Ontario is the latest regulated market added to BETER’s North American footprint. The company currently holds 10 regulatory approvals across the United States and is pursuing regulatory approval in Alberta.
BETER expects Alberta to become its second Canadian market as it continues targeting additional regulated jurisdictions across the region.
740,000 Events Annually
BETER delivers more than 740,000 live events each year through its 24/7 content offering. Up to 50 betting markets are available per event. The company reports an average operator margin of more than 8%.
Its esports portfolio covers eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey and eTennis through ESportsBattle. Meanwhile, its sports offering includes table tennis and basketball competitions.
The content is supported by a dedicated Integrity team that monitors events around the clock. This team works with organisations including IBIA and ESIC, as well as sports federations.
Focus on Regulatory Compliance
BETER Chief Legal Officer Valeriia Tarchynska said the Ontario registration demonstrates the company’s commitment to regulatory and compliance standards. This is especially important as it expands internationally.
For operators, the approval provides access to BETER’s proprietary content within Ontario’s regulated framework. Additionally, it strengthens the supplier’s position as it pursues further opportunities across Canada and North America.
