SOFTSWISS, a leading iGaming software provider, has launched API 2.0 for its Sportsbook platform, aiming to make integrations faster, easier, and more adaptable. The upgraded API significantly reduces integration time, enhances compatibility across tech stacks, and allows clients to onboard new features with minimal effort.
With API 2.0, the number of technical connection points is streamlined to just two core endpoints. This eliminates the need for handling complex betting data on the client side. Instead, partners only manage wallet balance updates, while SOFTSWISS handles the full betting logic. The result: smoother integrations, fewer errors, and lower costs.
A major highlight of the new API is its automatic feature adoption. As SOFTSWISS adds new Sportsbook tools, they are instantly available to clients without requiring any code updates. Plus, the API’s unified structure ensures compatibility with all platforms, removing the need to create multiple versions for different partners.
“API 2.0 is open, flexible, and powerful,” said Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of SOFTSWISS Sportsbook. “It’s plug-and-play but built for scalability. Our goal is to let clients focus on wallet processing while we handle the rest.”
Platforms can tailor the API based on their specific needs—choosing what data to display and how to structure it. This makes the Sportsbook easy to adapt to any frontend or wallet system, including those without native sportsbook support. Built-in checks also ensure stability and catch errors early in the process.
Soon, clients will be able to test and validate integrations through an intuitive interface with real-time feedback, further speeding up onboarding.
The release follows major industry recognition for the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, including “Innovation of the Year” at the Sports Betting East Africa Summit and “Best Sports Betting Provider in the Nordics” at the 2025 BSG Awards.
