Stake has continued its Latin American expansion with the launch of its online casino and sportsbook platform in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province.
The move gives the operator access to Argentina’s largest province, a market of more than 17 million people and one of the country’s most important economic and sporting regions.
Licensed Launch Targets Key Argentine Market
Stake will operate through stake.bet.ar under a license issued by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC).
The platform offers local players access to sports betting and online casino products through a mobile-focused experience supported by a broad portfolio of gaming content tailored to Argentine preferences.
The company said its platform combines advanced technology with localized offerings designed to meet the needs of the province’s digitally engaged player base.
Latin America Remains Strategic Focus
The Argentine launch strengthens Stake’s position across Latin America, where the operator has expanded rapidly in recent years.
The company has already established a presence in several major regional markets, including Mexico, Peru, Brazil, and Colombia. Adding Buenos Aires Province further extends its footprint in one of the region’s most competitive regulated gaming environments.
Argentina’s strong sports culture and growing digital adoption make the market an attractive opportunity for international operators seeking long-term growth.
Sports Partnerships Support Brand Growth
Stake has also increased its visibility among Argentine sports fans through its ambassador agreement with former national team striker Sergio Agüero.
The partnership forms part of the operator’s broader strategy of leveraging high-profile sports personalities and sponsorships to strengthen brand recognition in key markets.
As competition intensifies across Latin America, sports-driven marketing continues to play a central role in customer acquisition and engagement strategies.
Stake Continues Global Expansion
According to Diana Otalora, Stake’s General Manager for Latin America, Argentina represents a natural next step in the company’s regional growth strategy.
She highlighted the country’s passionate sporting culture, large online audience, and long-term market potential as key factors behind the expansion.
Since launching in 2017, Stake has grown into one of the largest online casino and sportsbook operators globally. The company reports attracting more than 100 million monthly visits across its international platforms, supported by continued investment in technology, partnerships, and localized market expansion.
The Buenos Aires launch further reinforces Stake’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading gaming and entertainment brand throughout Latin America.
