The number of on-site visitors in 2024 will exceed 100,000 people—this marks the highest attendance at the city-wide video game celebration event, with preliminary estimates showing that LGF generated over 30 million pounds in investments, publishing deals, and sales for participating businesses.
The date for next year’s tenth anniversary celebration is set for: Wednesday, April 2, 2025, to Sunday, April 13, 2025. The 9th London Games Festival in April welcomed its largest audience to date: over 100,000 people attended in person.
Visitors flocked to major events, including Now Play This, WASD, and the LGF’s flagship Trafalgar Square celebration event—more professionals attended a series of business-to-business events within the two weeks than ever before. LGF also received support from promotional campaigns on platforms like Steam and Apple App Store, digitally reaching millions and aiding in the sales and promotion of hundreds of games.
The B2B audience participation increased to over 4,100 individual developers, creators, publishers, and investors, who personally attended meetings, networking, and pitching sessions. International participants from 41 countries and 900 different global gaming companies were physically present.
