Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has entered the regulated Philippine market through a new partnership with ArenaPlus, the sports betting brand operated by DigiPlus Interactive Corp.
The agreement will see ArenaPlus migrate its sportsbook operations to Altenar’s fully managed platform, marking a significant milestone in the supplier’s expansion across Asia’s growing regulated betting markets.
ArenaPlus Upgrades Sportsbook Platform
As part of the partnership, Altenar will provide ArenaPlus with a comprehensive sportsbook solution that includes betting content, risk management tools, and compliance capabilities tailored to local regulatory requirements.
ArenaPlus, which operates under a license issued by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, will also gain access to customized betting markets, live and in-play wagering features, automated pricing tools, and localization functionality designed for the Philippines’ mobile-first audience.
The integration aims to strengthen ArenaPlus’ sports betting offering as demand for real-time wagering experiences continues to grow across the market.
Enhanced Focus on Local Sports Betting
A key component of the agreement is Altenar’s support for betting on the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), one of the country’s most popular sporting competitions.
The supplier stated that its proprietary statistical models will enable faster odds updates and a broader range of betting opportunities for basketball fans. These enhancements are expected to improve both player engagement and overall sportsbook performance.
In addition to basketball coverage, ArenaPlus will benefit from Altenar’s risk management and trading expertise across a wide range of international sporting events.
Supporting Long-Term Growth
According to Dinos Stranomitis, the partnership represents an important step in Altenar’s expansion strategy and provides the company with a foothold in one of Asia’s fastest-growing regulated betting markets.
He highlighted the platform’s ability to deliver the performance, stability, and compliance standards required by operators in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Erick Su said the migration aligns with ArenaPlus’ growth strategy, particularly as interest in live and in-play betting continues to increase among Filipino players. He added that Altenar’s technology will help enhance the customer experience while supporting long-term, sustainable growth.
The announcement follows another major development for ArenaPlus earlier this year, when the operator secured a multi-year agreement to become the first official betting partner of the National Basketball Association in the Philippines, further strengthening its position in the local sports betting market.
