Colombia’s gambling regulator has authorized the launch of MrYoker, expanding the country’s regulated online gaming market to 15 licensed operators.
Through concession contract C2261 of 2026, Coljuegos approved the operation of www.mryoker.co. This allows the platform to legally offer sports betting and online casino products in the Colombian market.
MrYoker Receives License Through 2031
The new platform is operated by Global Vitxo S.A.S. It will offer a range of products including sports betting, live casino games, and online slots.
The authorization allows MrYoker to operate through 2031. This gives the company a long-term presence in one of Latin America’s most established regulated gaming markets.
The approval reflects Colombia’s continued expansion of its regulated online gambling sector, which has experienced strong growth in recent years.
New Operator Expected to Generate Significant Revenue
Based on projections submitted to regulators, MrYoker is expected to contribute approximately COP 27.3 billion (around USD 7.4 million) in royalties and administrative fees. These will be paid over the next five years.
These funds will support Colombia’s subsidized healthcare system, which receives financing from regulated gambling activities under the country’s licensing framework.
Coljuegos also estimates that the platform could generate nearly COP 2.83 trillion (approximately USD 626 million) in gross revenue during the same period.
Online Gaming Continues Strong Growth
According to Coljuegos, the online gaming sector remains one of the strongest-performing segments of Colombia’s gambling industry.
The regulator attributes this growth to ongoing industry development initiatives. In addition, they point to the stability of the country’s regulatory framework, which has attracted both domestic and international operators.
The addition of MrYoker further strengthens the competitive landscape while expanding consumer choice within the regulated market.
Regulator Promotes Responsible Gambling
Alongside the announcement, Coljuegos encouraged players to use only licensed gambling platforms.
The regulator stated that authorized operators provide greater protections for consumers. This includes secure handling of personal data, guaranteed prize payments, and compliance with responsible gambling requirements.
Coljuegos also noted that regulated online betting operators have already contributed COP 253.2 billion in gaming rights payments during 2026. The regulator expects total contributions from the sector to exceed COP 450 billion before the end of the year. This further highlights the growing economic importance of Colombia’s regulated online gaming market.
