SOFTSWISS has expanded the capabilities of its Casino Platform with the introduction of enhanced real-time player segmentation. This enables operators to create more targeted marketing campaigns, automate engagement strategies, and respond instantly to player behavior.
The upgraded feature allows operators to group players using a wide range of criteria, including deposit activity, betting behavior, loyalty status, payment methods, tags, sportsbook activity, and other player attributes. In addition, multiple filters can be combined to create highly specific audience segments for retention, acquisition, and engagement initiatives.
Dynamic Segmentation Powered by Real-Time Data
A key feature of the update is the ability to automatically refresh player segments as user behavior changes.
SOFTSWISS updates player groups in real time, allowing operators to react immediately when users meet predefined conditions. This approach eliminates manual recalculations and helps brands deliver more relevant promotions and communications at the right moment.
The company stated that the segmentation engine operates as a standalone service rather than being embedded directly within the platform infrastructure. This helps maintain performance and stability during periods of high activity.
Internal data from SOFTSWISS indicates that 99.5% of player events are processed and delivered in real time.
Supporting Marketing and Retention Strategies
Operators can apply segmentation across a range of Casino Platform tools and workflows, including:
- Bonus campaigns
- Tournaments and lotteries
- Referral programs
- Payment-related scenarios
- Motion automation workflows
The functionality is also available to operators using the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook. As a result, brands can manage casino and sportsbook audiences through a single segmentation framework.
By centralizing player data and automating audience management, operators can create more personalized experiences while improving campaign efficiency.
Personalization at Scale
Commenting on the launch, Suren Vardanyan, Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, emphasized the growing importance of tailored player engagement.
“Real-time segmentation is the difference between generic campaigns and personalised experiences. With the segmentor, we build dynamic player groups that automatically adjust to behaviour, so operators can localise messaging and offers for thousands of players simultaneously.”
He added that the technology removes operational delays and allows brands to move beyond one-size-fits-all marketing approaches.
Early Adoption Delivers Operational Benefits
The feature is already being used by betting operator JabulaBets in South Africa across its acquisition, marketing, and operational teams.
According to SOFTSWISS, JabulaBets utilizes segmentation to improve promotional targeting, analyze player behavior, and define qualification criteria for campaigns. The operator also uses the tool to track first-time depositors and generate more precise KPI reports based on specific business objectives.
The ability to quickly identify and analyze player groups has helped teams improve decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
Expanding the SOFTSWISS Ecosystem
The segmentation update forms part of SOFTSWISS’ broader strategy to enhance engagement, automation, and operational efficiency across its product ecosystem.
Earlier this year, the company also launched its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds solution. This enables operators to offer event-based wagering on categories including politics, economics, technology, and cultural events.
With the latest enhancements, SOFTSWISS continues to expand its suite of data-driven tools. These tools are designed to help operators improve personalization, increase player retention, and streamline customer engagement across both casino and sportsbook environments.
