DATA.BET has revealed its first-year performance results following the launch of its sports betting vertical, highlighting strong growth across revenue, betting activity, and user acquisition.
Based on data from newly acquired clients, the company reported a 39.7% increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) and a 147.6% rise in active users over the past 12 months.
Betting Activity Continues to Accelerate
Turnover increased by 30.7% quarter-on-quarter, while overall betting activity expanded significantly during the period.
The total number of bets and stake volume grew by 83.5%, with combo bets recording particularly strong growth of 160.5%.
The increase in engagement contributed directly to user growth, as active player numbers more than doubled across client operations.
Product Features Drive Engagement
DATA.BET attributed much of its growth to a product ecosystem designed to improve player engagement and operator performance.
Key features include Bet Builder functionality across football, basketball, baseball, and American football, allowing users to combine multiple selections within a single event. The platform also supports Player Props markets, enabling bets on individual player performances such as goals, assists, and points.
Additional engagement tools include live streaming services and interactive widgets that provide real-time match statistics, player performance data, and event updates.
Official Data Partnerships Strengthen Offering
The company expanded its sports betting infrastructure through several official data partnerships over the past year.
DATA.BET works with providers including Infront for tennis data, Odds Composer for basketball, as well as Genius Sports and BETER, helping ensure access to verified sports data across major betting disciplines.
Football Leads Engagement While Basketball Drives Value
Football remained the strongest discipline in terms of player engagement.
The sport recorded a 107.5% increase in bet count and a 173.1% rise in active users during the reporting period.
Table tennis also posted notable growth, with active player numbers increasing by 172.5%.
Tennis maintained steady performance, with bet volume rising 33.6% and active users growing by 35%.
Basketball delivered the strongest commercial performance among major sports. Turnover increased by 83.7%, while active users grew by 96.8%, making it the highest-value discipline for operators based on revenue generation.
Darts Emerges as a Breakout Discipline
Growth was not limited to mainstream sports.
Niche disciplines recorded a 56.6% increase in turnover and a 97.4% rise in active players. Among them, darts emerged as one of the strongest-performing sports, benefiting from increased user interest and betting activity throughout the year.
Premier League Remains Top Tournament
At tournament level, the English Premier League remained DATA.BET’s most profitable competition.
The number of events increased by 45.7%, while nearly half of all betting volume was generated through traditional 1X2 markets.
Across all major tournaments, top-tier competitions significantly outperformed lower-tier events, recording:
- 102.7% growth in turnover
- 187.2% growth in profit
- 196.6% growth in bet count
While top-tier tournaments generated the highest commercial returns, lower-tier competitions continued attracting new recreational bettors and contributed to overall sportsbook diversification.
Focus on Long-Term Growth
According to DATA.BET, the first year demonstrated that broad sports coverage, official data partnerships, and engagement-focused features can successfully drive both scale and stability.
The company plans to continue expanding its sportsbook offering as it builds on the momentum generated during its first year in the sports betting sector.
