New Award to Celebrate Community Projects Linked to F1

Allwyn and Formula 1 have launched the F1 Allwyn Global Community Award to honour community-focused projects connected to the world of F1.

Under this initiative, each chosen project will receive a €100,000 ($117,000) donation from Allwyn and gain recognition on Formula 1’s global stage. The programme aims to inspire further community engagement across education, culture, wellbeing, and sustainability.

Organisers plan to present the first award during the Dutch Grand Prix in August. They will announce three more winners at races in Austin, Las Vegas, and Mexico City later this year.

Local race promoters will nominate eligible projects run by teams, partners, or other stakeholders involved in F1 events. Besides the donation, winners will receive a trophy and a chance to attend a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Allwyn Group CEO Robert Chvátal highlighted the company’s community focus:

“Our partnership with Formula 1 is the perfect chance to demonstrate our commitment to communities through the creation of this inspiring award.”

Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali added that the award would shine a spotlight on local initiatives that “go the extra mile” to improve their communities and the world.

Both organisations plan to expand the award to more races in the 2026 season.
