Altenar has introduced a series of sportsbook platform updates aimed at improving personalization, campaign automation, and betting flexibility for operators and players.
The latest enhancements expand Bet Builder functionality and improve promotional management tools. In addition, they introduce new engagement features designed to create more tailored sportsbook experiences across different player segments.
New Player Segmentation Tools Introduced
One of the key additions is the launch of Player Tags, a feature that allows operators to segment audiences more efficiently. It also allows them to automate promotional targeting.
Operators can create, edit, and assign tags in bulk. This enables more personalized campaign management across sportsbook platforms. Furthermore, the integration of Player Tags with Bet Cards and Boosted Odds also allows operators to automatically display more relevant betting promotions and content to specific player groups.
The update is intended to help operators improve engagement while reducing the manual workload associated with campaign customization.
Expanded Bet Builder Features
Altenar also expanded its Bet Builder offering with several new capabilities designed to improve betting flexibility and usability.
New pre-match basketball markets now include selections such as player blocks, steals, double-doubles, triple-doubles, and highest-scoring quarter options. As a result, players benefit from the increased variety of available combinations.
The company also introduced Bet Builder Direct Calculation, which enables users to combine compatible selections directly within market groups without needing to switch to a separate Bet Builder interface. This feature streamlines the betting process and creates a faster user experience.
Additionally, Bet Builder Bundles now group related betting selections together to simplify navigation and encourage more engaging bet creation.
Automated Promotions and Smarter Content
Several updates focus on improving promotional automation for operators.
Auto-generated Boost Campaigns now allow sportsbooks to create odds boosts automatically using predefined rules and pick logic. This helps operators launch promotions more quickly while reducing manual setup requirements.
At the same time, Altenar’s AIS integration supports automated population of promotional content through dynamically refreshed Bet Cards. It also supports popular Bet Builder recommendations.
The company said these tools are designed to keep sportsbook content relevant and continuously updated based on player behavior and betting activity.
Enhanced Live Betting Experience
The platform update also introduces a redesigned sports lobby structure featuring configurable category groupings and improved event discoverability.
Meanwhile, early payout functionality has expanded into Ice Hockey 1×2 markets, giving operators additional engagement options for live sports bettors.
Altenar further upgraded its live betting environment through integration with DATA.BET, adding enhanced live match tracking and real-time scoreboard functionality.
Focus on Flexibility and Player Engagement
According to Nikos Zygouris, flexibility remains central to Altenar’s sportsbook development strategy.
He said the company continuously monitors player behavior, operator requirements, and market trends to identify areas where platform improvements can deliver the most value.
The latest updates aim to help operators create more personalized sportsbook journeys and automate key operational processes. They also provide players with greater flexibility throughout the betting experience.
