Betano has been announced as an Official Tournament Supporter of the FIFA World Cup for Europe and South America. This follows a new partnership agreement between FIFA and Kaizen Gaming.
The tournament will be hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will be the largest FIFA World Cup in history. For the first time, the tournament will feature 48 national teams.
The agreement marks the third collaboration between Betano and FIFA. In 2022, Betano became the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA as an Official Regional Supporter of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for Europe. Earlier this year, the brand was also named an Official Partner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
FIFA and Kaizen Gaming Highlight Long-Term Collaboration
Romy Gai welcomed the renewed partnership, stating that FIFA values Betano’s continued commitment to sporting integrity and fan engagement.
According to Gai, both organizations share the objective of bringing fans closer to football. Additionally, they aim to create innovative entertainment experiences around the global tournament.
Meanwhile, George Daskalakis described the partnership as an important milestone in Kaizen Gaming’s international growth strategy.
Daskalakis said the FIFA World Cup represents a major global platform for sports and entertainment. He added that the company aims to strengthen Betano’s reputation as a trusted and responsible online sports betting brand throughout the tournament.
Betano Focuses on Responsible Gaming and Fan Engagement
As part of the partnership, Betano plans to launch a series of digital and in-person fan engagement campaigns across Europe and South America. These campaigns will take place during the World Cup period.
The operator also emphasized its responsible gaming initiatives. These include financial limit tools, session management features, and 24/7 customer support services designed to encourage safer betting behavior.
Kaizen Gaming has continued to strengthen its industry profile in recent years. The company earned recognition as Operator of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards in both 2024 and 2025. It also won Operator of the Year – Large at the SBC Awards.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 expected to attract billions of viewers globally, the expanded partnership gives Betano another major opportunity. This will allow the brand to increase international visibility ahead of one of the world’s largest sporting events.
