
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has strengthened its leadership team to accelerate digital growth. During a board meeting on 19 June 2025, the company appointed Mr. Tommy Hu as Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Rick Li as Chief Digital Officer.
Tommy Hu to Lead DigiPlus into Next Phase
Mr. Hu brings more than two decades of experience in software engineering and digital business strategy. Throughout his career, he has driven DigiPlus’ transformation from a land-based gaming operator into a leading digital entertainment platform in the Philippines.
Notably, he played a central role in developing BingoPlus, the country’s top digital bingo brand. Under his leadership, the company launched immersive, mobile-first experiences that modernised traditional products. Before taking the CEO role, Mr. Hu guided innovation strategies. He helped align the company’s offerings with local culture and user needs. He also previously held a senior technical post at Huawei. Moreover, he earned a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Rick Li Brings Regional Fintech Expertise
Meanwhile, Mr. Rick Li will lead DigiPlus’ digital and financial innovation. With 15 years of experience in fintech and digital payments, he most recently served as Head of Solutions for South & Southeast Asia at Ant Group. There, he led technical operations and helped scale digital services across diverse markets.
Armed with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore, Mr. Li will now guide DigiPlus’ response to evolving financial technologies. He will also address changing regulatory environments.
DigiPlus Rides High on Industry Recognition
DigiPlus continues to gain industry momentum. Best known for its BingoPlus and ArenaPlus brands, the company was recently named Digital Operator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2025. This recognition highlights DigiPlus’ commitment to innovation, responsible gaming, and regional leadership.
