AGCO Approval Opens Access to Ontario’s Regulated Market
Incentive Games has officially secured a gaming licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). This allows it to enter Canada’s largest regulated iGaming market. With the licence now in effect, the company can offer its real-money gaming portfolio to licensed operators and players across Ontario.
The AGCO’s rigorous approval process required compliance with strict standards around security, responsible gambling, and operational integrity. All of these standards were successfully met by Incentive Games.
Incentive Studios to Deliver Market-Specific Solutions
To serve the region, Incentive Games will distribute its content through Incentive Studios, its real-money gaming division dedicated to market-specific services. This move aligns with Ontario’s broader regulatory framework. The framework opened to private operators in April 2022 and continues to attract global interest.
John Gordon, CEO of Incentive Games, commented:
“Ontario represents a huge opportunity for us, and securing this license is a proud moment for the whole team. It reinforces our dedication to meeting the highest standards while delivering compelling real-money content. We’re looking forward to building strong relationships in the region and continuing our momentum across regulated markets worldwide.”
North American Expansion Strategy in Motion
The Ontario licence follows another recent milestone. Incentive Games has also obtained provisional licensure from the Michigan Gaming Control Board in the US. These back-to-back achievements highlight the company’s strategic push into regulated North American jurisdictions.
In parallel, the company continues to innovate, having recently launched the Tournament Predictor with bet365 — a free-to-play title released ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
As the iGaming industry in North America evolves, Incentive Games is positioning itself as a key player. It is building on its growing presence in multiple markets.
