SOFTSWISS Handles 16,000 Responsible Gambling Cases in H1 2025

Softswiss Responsible Gambling

SOFTSWISS reported that its Responsible Gambling team managed around 16,000 cases in the first half of 2025, reinforcing its commitment to compliance and player protection across regulated markets. The company also introduced several new initiatives to strengthen collaboration and promote responsible gaming awareness.

Expanding Responsible Gambling Initiatives

The 16,000 recorded cases included self-exclusion requests, behavioural checks, and proactive interventions. These efforts formed part of a broader strategy to ensure regulatory compliance in all partner jurisdictions.

To support this, SOFTSWISS launched a monthly Responsible Gambling Video Digest, an animated series sharing updates on policies and best practices. The company also introduced bilingual training modules for First Line Support and CRM teams, improving communication and consistency across departments.

Meanwhile, the Responsible Gambling unit worked closely with AML, Legal, and Complaints teams to create a unified player protection framework. External training programmes, supported by certified learning modules, further enhanced employee expertise company-wide.

Emilia Kurzynska, Team Lead of Responsible Gambling, said:
“Our mission is to keep player well-being at the core of every process. The growing number of Responsible Gambling cases shows that awareness is increasing, and we are meeting this demand with effective tools and timely interventions.”

Leveraging Technology and Industry Engagement

SOFTSWISS continues to upgrade its Risk Scoring Tool, developed with its Research and Development department. The system applies machine learning algorithms to detect risky behaviour more accurately, aligning with evolving international regulations.

In addition, the company will showcase its responsible gambling initiatives at SiGMA Central Europe 2025 (Stand 4016 G). Visitors can explore its latest compliance tools, discuss partnership opportunities, and preview the 2026 iGaming Trends Report.

These initiatives underline SOFTSWISS’ focus on combining innovation with player protection, ensuring that technology, transparency, and responsibility remain at the heart of its growth strategy.
