SOFTSWISS has won the Industry Innovator award for its Prediction Markets Platform at SiGMA North America 2026 in Mexico City. This recognizes the technology provider’s expansion into event-based wagering and regulated gaming markets.
The platform was launched in April 2026, allowing operators to add prediction markets to their existing offerings through a fixed-odds model. Notably, it can operate as a standalone product or be integrated into an existing sportsbook through an API or iFrame.
Prediction Markets Platform Passes 50 Projects
Since its launch, the platform has surpassed 50 live projects in its pipeline. It now covers more than 10 event categories.
Existing SOFTSWISS partners can reportedly launch the product within two to three days. In contrast, new operators can go live in approximately three weeks. The provider can also manage prediction markets through its own risk team for operators without an internal trading function.
The platform covers categories including politics, economics, technology and culture. This gives operators an alternative to sports-focused wagering and allows them to engage users around real-world events.
Product Targets Regulated Markets
Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of Operations at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, said the platform was developed to make prediction markets practical for operators. He added it fits into existing business infrastructure and regulated-market requirements.
The latest award follows another industry recognition for the product. SOFTSWISS Prediction Markets previously won Best Next-Gen Betting Product at the SiGMA Asia Awards 2026, less than two months after its launch.
The recognition comes as prediction markets gain greater attention across the global betting industry. Now, suppliers are developing technology that allows operators to add event-based products alongside traditional sportsbook and casino offerings.
SOFTSWISS Expands in Mexico
Mexico remains an important market in SOFTSWISS’ regional expansion strategy. The company supports licensed gaming brands in the country with compliant iGaming solutions and 24/7 technical and client support.
For SOFTSWISS, the Industry Innovator award provides further recognition for its efforts to establish prediction markets as an additional product vertical for regulated operators. Moreover, its growing project pipeline demonstrates increasing commercial interest in the category.
