SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Adds Fiat Display and Lite Mode

SOFTSWISS has introduced two new features to its Sportsbook platform: Fiat Display for cryptocurrency balances. Additionally, Lite Mode is now available for its mobile application.

The updates are designed to simplify sports betting for crypto users. Moreover, they improve performance for players using mobile networks with limited or unstable connectivity.

Fiat Display Simplifies Crypto Betting

The new Fiat Display feature allows players to view their cryptocurrency balances in a selected fiat currency. Further, players can see their bet amounts and potential winnings in fiat.

The feature only changes how values are displayed on screen. Players continue to place bets using cryptocurrency, while all transactions and reporting remain unchanged in the backend.

SOFTSWISS said the platform header shows the selected exchange rate and updates it automatically every ten minutes. Operators can configure the feature through the Sportsbook CMS and determine which fiat currencies are available to users.

The addition aims to solve a common challenge for crypto bettors. It helps them better understand the real-world value of their wagers and potential returns.

Lite Mode Improves Mobile Accessibility

SOFTSWISS has also launched Lite Mode, a streamlined version of the Sportsbook mobile application. It is designed for users with slower or unstable internet connections.

The feature reduces visual complexity and background activity. As a result, key sportsbook functions load more quickly while maintaining a smooth betting experience.

Lite Mode supports player engagement in markets where mobile network infrastructure remains inconsistent and helps operators deliver reliable sportsbook access under challenging conditions.

Focus on Player Experience

Victor Sekushenko, Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, said the updates are aimed at reducing friction throughout the betting journey.

“With the FIFA World Cup 2026 drawing attention from millions of fans worldwide, every interaction matters. Players expect a fast and clear experience from the moment they open an app or place a bet. Product improvements that remove friction can have a direct impact on how effectively operators convert interest into long-term engagement.”

Available Now

Both Fiat Display and Lite Mode are available immediately. Operators can contact their account managers for assistance with configuration and implementation.

The launch follows the recent introduction of SOFTSWISS’ Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds B2B solution. This platform enables operators to offer event-based wagering across politics, economics, technology, and cultural events. Operators can use either a standalone widget or direct Sportsbook integration.
