Betway has named football legend Thierry Henry as its new global ambassador, expanding the brand’s reach with one of the sport’s most iconic figures.
Henry began his professional career in 1994 with AS Monaco, followed by a brief stint at Juventus. In 1999, he joined Arsenal, where he became a club legend over eight seasons. He later played for Barcelona and New York Red Bulls, scoring a total of 290 goals across 600 appearances.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest Premier League players of all time, Henry transitioned into management in 2018, taking charge at AS Monaco. In 2024, he returned to the spotlight as coach of the French Olympic football team.
Speaking about the partnership, Henry said:

Beyond individual ambassadors, Betway continues to support responsible gaming through broader initiatives. In November 2024, the operator partnered with South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) to promote safer betting during National Responsible Gambling Month.
