ThrillTech has received a Category A1 Manufacturer’s Licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). This licence allows the company to launch its flagship side-bet jackpot solution, ThrillPots, with licensed iGaming operators in Greece.
Greece Expansion Marks Regulatory Milestone
The new licence makes ThrillTech the first specialist iGaming jackpot provider to receive approval in the Greek regulated market.
Giles Potter, Chief Marketing Officer at ThrillTech, said the approval represents another important step in the company’s international expansion strategy.
“We’re especially proud of this approval, as it makes ThrillTech the first specialist iGaming jackpot provider to be licensed in Greece. We can’t wait to roll out in the market and demonstrate how our side-bet jackpot model delivers compelling new engagement mechanics which delight players while generating significant new revenues for our operator partners.”
Independent Jackpot Technology
ThrillTech’s jackpot system operates separately from the underlying casino games and betting products offered by operators.
Its proprietary random number generator (RNG) powers the side-bet jackpots independently. Consequently, the technology does not alter the return-to-player (RTP) or game mathematics of the core casino titles. Instead, jackpot outcomes are determined through ThrillTech’s certified RNG. Notably, there is a separate operator-defined RTP funded by optional jackpot side bets.
Growing Global Presence
Greece becomes the latest regulated market to approve ThrillTech’s technology. It now joins jurisdictions including Ontario, Gibraltar, the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, Malta, Brazil, and Peru.
The latest licence strengthens ThrillTech’s international footprint. The company continues expanding its side-bet jackpot technology across regulated iGaming markets worldwide.
