Vladimir Klein Departs Fortuna Entertainment Group

Vladimir Klein

Vladimir Klein has stepped down as Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) after nearly five years with the pan-European betting operator.

Leadership and Contributions

Klein also served on the Board of Directors for Fortuna, the operator’s flagship brand founded in 1990 and active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania. During his tenure, he oversaw major technological projects including the re-platforming of FEG’s sportsbook, the launch of redesigned apps and websites, and the modernization of the company’s infrastructure.

In a personal statement, Klein reflected on his time with the company:

“I want to sincerely thank all my colleagues who believed in me, trusted our direction and stood by through outages, hacker attacks, and the delivery of complex transformational programs.”

Context of Change

Klein’s departure follows a period of restructuring at FEG. Earlier this year, the operator appointed Dieter John as CEO, citing a need to guide the group into its “next phase of growth and success.”

Fortuna continues to strengthen its market presence through supplier agreements with Pragmatic Play, EvoPlay, and Playtech, while also deepening ties with sports organizations such as Slavia Prague.

What’s Next

Neither the reason for Klein’s exit nor details of a successor have been disclosed.
