Booming Games Expands South America Strategy with Ronaldinho Partnership

Booming Games has announced a major strategic expansion across South America. This move positions the region as a central pillar of its global growth roadmap. The game developer said it is aiming to become the number one premium content provider in South America. This goal is backed by increased investment, localized product development, and high-profile partnerships across Brazil’s regulated market.

With Latin America’s online gambling market projected to exceed $10 billion in annual revenue by 2030, and Brazil launching a fully regulated framework in 2025, Booming Games is moving aggressively. The company wants to secure long-term market leadership.

Max Niehusen, Founder of Booming Games, said: “Brazil is going to separate the leaders from the rest of the industry. The days of one-size-fits-all content are over, and players are demanding more relevance, more entertainment, and more connection. If you get Brazil right, you don’t just win locally — you can change the global game.”

Brazil Becomes Core Focus of Growth Plan

Booming Games highlighted South America as a major iGaming growth opportunity. The company cited a population of 440 million, internet penetration of 84%, and an estimated 100 million online casino players in Brazil alone. In fact, the company said Brazil and the wider region now sit at the center of its expansion strategy. This plan relies on investment in specialized talent, localized content pipelines, and closer collaboration with operators.

Flagship Partnerships with Leading Brazilian Operators

To accelerate market penetration, Booming Games secured distribution partnerships with several major operators active in Brazil. These include Betano, Betnacional, 7K Bet, Cassino Bet, Brazino, H2 Bet, Esportes da Sorte, Bet365, SportingBet, and SuperBet. The company said these agreements maximize reach while enabling operators to deliver tailored content experiences to their audiences.

Localized Game Portfolio Built for Brazil

Booming Games has also introduced a suite of titles specifically designed for Brazilian players. These include Fortune Surge Series, Inferno Fortune Instastrike, Fortune Paw, 7 Fruits of Riches, and Monkey Charm. The studio confirmed that a growing selection of instant games is scheduled to launch in Q2.

A key commercial feature of its portfolio allows games to be fully white-labelled and custom-branded. This gives operators more control over presentation and creates a differentiated player experience.

Craig Asling, Director of Games at Booming Games, said: “We see Brazil as more than a market — it’s a culture. That’s why we create content that feels truly native, not just localised. Our games are designed to genuinely connect with Brazilian players.”

Exclusive Ronaldinho Content Drives Regional Differentiation

A central part of the company’s South American strategy is its exclusive content partnership with Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho. He is one of the most recognizable sports figures globally with more than 150 million social media followers.

Following the success of earlier titles Ronaldinho Spins and Ronaldinho Scores: Shoot To Win, Booming Games is launching two new games: Ronaldinho’s Streetball Bonanza and Bruxo da Sorte. Both releases are timed to capture momentum ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Ronaldinho’s Streetball Bonanza is a 6×5 slot featuring scatter pay mechanics, inspired by Brazilian street football culture, and enhanced with a Street Skill Meter feature. Meanwhile, Bruxo da Sorte casts Ronaldinho as “The Wizard” in a fast-paced 3×3 slot, designed for high-frequency gameplay with a x10 multiplier.

Dan Paleu, COO of Booming Games, said: “Ronaldinho gives us a unique bridge between global appeal and local relevance. He’s instantly recognisable worldwide, but more importantly, he’s deeply rooted in Brazilian culture.”

SiGMA BiS South America Showcase in São Paulo

Booming Games will highlight its South America expansion at SiGMA BiS South America, taking place in São Paulo from 6–9 April 2026. The company will host an exclusive Platinum VIP Lounge, a custom-built space themed around Ronaldinho’s Streetball Bonanza.

The lounge will serve as a premium networking destination for senior industry stakeholders. It will offer hospitality, exclusive merchandise, and access to Booming Games leadership. The studio said the event will also provide operators and partners the opportunity to explore bespoke commercial partnerships and its expanding localized game portfolio.
