DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has joined the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR) as it continues expanding its presence in Brazil through its BingoPlus brand.
The membership aligns the Philippine digital entertainment company with an industry association whose members represent more than 60% of Brazil’s regulated betting market.
Membership Reinforces Compliance Strategy
By joining IBJR, DigiPlus will participate in initiatives promoting responsible gambling, regulatory compliance, and efforts to combat illegal betting.
IBJR CEO Carlos Lima said the company’s membership reflects its commitment to regulation and responsible gaming while supporting the association’s continued focus on player protection and reducing the unregulated market.
DigiPlus Brazil Managing Director Graham Tidey said the membership supports the company’s long-term expansion strategy. He added that DigiPlus will leverage more than 25 years of entertainment industry experience and its digital gaming expertise from the Philippines to grow responsibly in Brazil.
IBJR Expands Industry Collaboration
Founded in 2023, IBJR brings together leading domestic and international betting operators, including bet365, BetMGM, Betsson Group, Entain, Flutter Brazil, Kaizen Gaming, and KTO Group.
The association plays a central role in shaping Brazil’s regulated betting market by promoting responsible gaming standards and supporting actions against illegal operators.
Focus Remains on BingoPlus
The announcement highlighted DigiPlus’ ongoing operations in Brazil through BingoPlus, but provided no update on GamePlus, which the company paused in October 2025 following its soft launch.
At the time, DigiPlus described the launch as a learning phase designed to better understand Brazilian player preferences before a wider rollout. The latest announcement did not provide a revised timeline for the platform’s return.
By joining IBJR, DigiPlus strengthens its position within Brazil’s regulated gaming industry while reinforcing its commitment to responsible gambling and regulatory compliance as it continues expanding in one of Latin America’s fastest-growing betting markets.
