Meridianbet has extended its title sponsorship agreement with Crvena Zvezda until 2030, securing a long-term partnership with one of Europe’s most iconic basketball clubs. The renewed deal reinforces Meridianbet’s presence in elite European basketball and strengthens its brand visibility across key regional markets.
Long-Term Title Sponsorship Confirmed
Meridianbet, part of Golden Matrix Group Inc., first became Crvena Zvezda’s title sponsor in January 2023. Under the extended agreement, the Serbian powerhouse will continue to compete as Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet across all competitions through the end of the decade.
The sponsorship covers participation in the EuroLeague, ABA League, and the Serbian national league. Meridianbet branding will remain prominently featured on team jerseys and throughout Belgrade Arena, one of Europe’s most recognisable basketball venues.
Aligning With a Global Basketball Brand
The extension reflects Meridianbet’s focus on sports properties with deep cultural significance and sustained media exposure. Crvena Zvezda competes in the EuroLeague, a 20-team competition spanning 12 countries and reaching an estimated 90 million fans worldwide.
As Europe’s premier basketball competition, the EuroLeague continues to serve as a major pathway to the NBA. Crvena Zvezda’s legacy includes alumni such as Vlade Divac and Peja Stojaković, both later inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, underscoring the club’s historical importance.
Supporting Growth Across the Balkans
Meridianbet CEO Zoran Milošević said the extended partnership highlights the company’s commitment to long-term brand building in basketball-driven markets. As Meridianbet expands operations across 18 jurisdictions, partnerships with leading sports institutions provide sustained engagement with aligned audiences.
Beyond brand exposure, the collaboration has strengthened Meridianbet’s presence across the Balkans, particularly in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. The partnership also includes corporate social responsibility initiatives focused on youth basketball development and responsible gaming education, delivered through club-led community programmes.
