PAGCOR Warns Against Illegal Offshore Gaming Sites

PAGCOR

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has issued a strong warning about illegal offshore gaming websites that falsely claim to operate under its licenses. These rogue platforms actively misuse PAGCOR’s name and logo, hoping to trick unsuspecting users into believing they are legitimate.

Moreover, officials has named several specific sites involved in these scams, including efesbetcasino514.com, OG7777 online gaming (og7777.org), mpo500.com, qq88.com, mpo2121.com, lgolive.com, napolibet.com, KRATOSBET LTD (kratosbet.com), mpossport.com, and efsanebahis434.com. In addition, authorities discovered another fraudulent platform, cazeus2.com/en/responsible-gaming, which operates from the United Kingdom.

PAGCOR Urges Filipinos to Stay Alert

Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco criticized these sites for disrespecting the agency and putting the public at risk. He explained that these platforms have no legal authorization to operate under PAGCOR’s name.

Tengco stressed:

“We urge everyone to remain vigilant and always verify the legitimacy of any gaming site before engaging with it.”

Furthermore, he reminded the public that illegal operators exploit unsuspecting players, often leading to financial losses and other risks.

POGOs No Longer Legal in the Philippines

Since December 31, 2024, PAGCOR has banned all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs). Therefore, any businesses still claiming to operate under PAGCOR’s offshore licenses are breaking the law.

Tengco emphasized:

“Any entity claiming to operate under a PAGCOR license for offshore gaming is clearly violating the law and should be reported immediately.”

Meanwhile, the regulator continues urging the public to visit its official website, www.pagcor.ph, to check whether a gaming operator holds a valid license and to access reliable information about the online gaming industry in the Philippines.
